Hi,

I was wondering what files are created by Transcode 360 when it is transcoding. I known it creates .360 files but I am not sure if there is anything else that take up a significant disk space. I am asking because after I installed and ran Transcode 360, I think I had a gig of space disappear and I only found 1 transcoded .360 file amounting to 256mb. Therefore, if any1 has any idea, please let me know.

I had this problem a little while a ago, when i got my new computer. the set up would run fine up until the contacting stage, where it would time out.

The problem i found was the my new computer had a finger print reader, using a program called verisoft which was chashing which the connection sequence.

the fix is simple:

1. go to verisot of the task bar
2. right click and open "settings and options"
3.in the generals tab deselect the option "Use verisoft to log on to windows"
4. apply, ok and retry the media set up process again

Hi There

A few weeks ago I installed runtime on my Vista Premium. When I first start my system the program displays an ugly error message at start-up. Its rather long but the window is called "Error" and it says:
System.TypeIntializationException: The type initializer for "Transcode360Settings' threw an exception. ---> System.UnauthorizedAccesException:Access to the path is denied.
 at System.IO_ErrorIOError(Int32 errorCode. String maybeFullPath).....

It goes on and on with several other "at..." messages.
This same message appears when i try to launch it from Programs.
It has an OK button and that closes the window.
The runtime360 appears in the system tray after, but when I mouse over it disappears.

Then when I try to uninstall, I get another error message that says "Please stop Transcode 360 before attempting to uninstall it".

How do i stop this error message or uninstall this program?!

Thanks!
Kyle

The problem is all the download links I can find for the VLC Wrapper point to transcode360.co.uk and the site is currently down. My questions are does anyone know where we can download this, and does it really fix the aXXo encoded movie issue with audio but no sound? This would be a great help to fix because 99% of the movies I download always end up being encoded by aXXo because his files are so popular. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've just installed transcode 360. I'm using my xbox360 as an extener from my vista32bit media center pc.
My main objective is to get the extender to play .iso files as this is how I prefer to store them on my hard drive for ease of use and later burning if I needed to. When I try to play an .iso file with transcoder it plays fine, but will only play through the first .vob file within the .iso. After that file finishes playing the movie ends as if there are no files within the .iso. Also it will only play in the aspect ratio 4/3.
I then extracted the files from the .iso using .isobuster. I stored the files in the movie folder then a subfolder I called VIDEO_TS like it would look if you extracted directly from a DVD. This worked very well with T360. If I fast forward through the video the sound did get off, but If I just let the video play it seemed normal. I haven't tried on my surround sound system yet, so I don't know if I'm getting 5.1 yet.
So, my first question is: Is it possible to get transcode to play through an entire .iso file without stopping? If so could you spell out how to accomplish, please?
thanks for program, I would have trashed media center by now if it wasn't for this!

So this is my first time trying to get TC360 to run. I am currently having this issue. On both my PC and my 360 when I choose the file that I wish to TC. it tells me that "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. 127.0.0.1:1401" I thought this might be a firewall problem so I disabled that as well as windows defender. No dice. I looked through the posts and submitted a search trying to find an answer but got nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

I am running Vista Ultimate, Avast antivirus, and normally windows firewall and defender.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

At present multiple files are not possible, T360 is designed to play a video in faster than realtime and not to cache multiple files.

It is a feature we have looked in to and the main reason would be to facilitate multiple Xbox 360's

The more info problem is an issue with Media Centres API system as we cannot override the default action for playing a video.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately this is a limitation in the Media Centre API's, Microsoft will not let us hijack the Media Centre experience and make T360 the default player.

Thanks
